Add Proxylang to Wix

One script tag translates your whole site. No DNS changes needed.

1. Copy your script tag

Copy it from the setup wizard, or any time from the Domains page under the Setup tab.

Example only — copy your real tag from the dashboard.

2. Open Custom Code

DashboardSettingsDevelopment & integrationsCustom Code

Open your site Dashboard (not the Editor). In Settings, scroll to the Development & integrations section and click Custom Code.

3. Add the code to the Head

+ Add Custom CodeHead

Click + Add Custom Code. Paste the script tag, name it "Proxylang", set Place Code in: Head, choose All pages, then click Apply.

4. Check your live site

The code takes effect as soon as you click Apply — there is no separate publish step. Your site must already be published with a connected domain.

5. Check that it worked

Open your live site. The language switcher appears within a few seconds. If you came from the setup wizard, it also checks your site for you.

Your site must be published and have a connected domain (connecting a domain requires a paid Wix plan).

Use the site Dashboard, not the Editor. Custom Code is under Development & integrations.
