Let visitors search your site in their own language
Someone reading your site in Korean types a Korean query. Your search box receives it in English and returns the right results. Your search stays exactly as it is.
An ordinary search form works as it is. If the field is named q, query, search, keyword, term or s, Proxylang picks it up on its own.
If the translation takes longer than 4.5 seconds the original query is sent through instead. Visitors never sit on a spinner.
Visitors reading your site in its own language use no credits at all. Every translated search uses one credit. Repeats on the same domain are remembered, so they come back faster.

Proxylang uses the Site Description from your Brand & Context tab to pick the right meaning for a one-word query, so "mint" on a skincare shop does not come back as currency.
Search boxes that filter a list on the page
Some search boxes never send anything to a server; they filter a list that is already on the page, like a FAQ or a product grid. Those need one attribute on the input:
The query is translated when the visitor presses Enter. Add ="live" to translate as they type instead, after a short pause. Live mode spends one credit per pause, so keep Enter mode unless the search really needs results while typing. Full setup guide →
Search credits are included with your plan
Granted once when you first subscribe, shared across every site on the account, and they never expire. Moving up a plan tops you up by the difference. The packs below are for when you run out. At zero credits searches still work, but the query is passed through in the visitor's language without translation.

各検索リクエストは、キャッシュヒットを含め、1クォータを消費します。翻訳された固有のクエリは、ドメインごとにキャッシュされます。繰り返しの検索は（AIへの呼び出しなしで）即座に結果を返しますが、引き続き1クォータを消費します。AIの新規呼び出しではなく、この機能に対して料金が発生します。原文の言語による検索は、0クォータの消費となります。
訪問者が母国語で入力すると、検索バックエンドに届く前にソース言語へ翻訳します。
Cloud Search、Algolia、Postgres全文検索、カスタム検索など、リクエストの前に配置されるため、検索エンジン自体には一切干渉しません。
各パックに有効期限はありません。月額契約も不要です。
