A word is the text content we translate on your site. Your word limit is the total amount of unique content you can translate - once translated, it stays translated and doesn't count again. Cached translations don't use your quota.

Verified search engine crawlers (Googlebot, Bingbot, Naver, Baidu, Yandex, DuckDuckBot, Applebot) are translated using a faster, lighter model and billed at 25% of the normal word rate. This keeps large per-language SEO catalogs (available on the Lite plan and up) affordable. Other automated traffic, including AI crawlers, is billed at the normal word rate. When a real user visits a page, we re-translate at premium quality on first hit and cache it, and crawlers get the upgraded version on their next visit.

A page view is counted every time someone visits a translated page on your site. Page views reset monthly. Bot/crawler traffic does not count toward page views.

Languages refer to your target translation languages. For example, if your site is in English and you translate to Spanish and French, that counts as 2 languages. Start and above let people read your site in all 77. Separately, each plan sets how many of those languages search engines can find you in. That second number is smaller because crawlers re-fetch every language you publish, every day, and each of those fetches costs translation. Lite keeps your site readable in 5 languages and search engines find you in your original language plus one translation.

Start and every plan above it carry unlimited websites. Test Drive and Lite carry one. Subdomains of a domain you have already added (app.example.com, docs.example.com) are free and never count. Your word allowance is shared across every site on the account, so a second site splits the same words rather than adding more. If you drop to Lite, the sites you already have keep running; you just cannot add another until you are back under the limit.

We'll email you at 75%, 90%, and 100% usage so you have time to upgrade. If you hit your limit, new translations pause — but existing cached translations continue serving for 1 month. To ensure uninterrupted translation, upgrade your plan before your cache expires.

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the higher limits. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Every paid plan carries image translation credits and reverse search credits: Lite gets 2 images and 500 searches, Start 10 and 2,000, Pro 30 and 2,000, Business and Global 100 and 2,000. Live Chat is included from the Start plan up — Start carries 2,000 translated messages a month, Pro 10,000, and Business and above 50,000. Test Drive and Lite carry no chat plan, and you can subscribe to one separately from the Live Chat page.

Included image and search credits never expire. They are granted once per account the first time you subscribe to a paid plan, and moving up a plan tops you up by the difference rather than granting the full amount again. Chat messages work differently: they are a monthly allowance that resets. If you buy extra credits, purchased search packs never expire and purchased image packs are valid for 12 months, with an email 30 days before one runs out.
